UVU student speaks at U.N., advocates gender equality


Jesler Molina represented Utah Valley University at the United Nations Open Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals held Dec. 9-11, 2019. Molina, who serves as president of the Model U.N. Club at UVU, delivered a proposal to the committee regarding new indicators to measure development of nations, since the Millennium Development Goals established in 2000 will expire in 2019. The UVU student also serves as president to the Utah International Mountain Forum, a coalition of UVU clubs that engages communities in sustainable mountain region development.
