State offers wood-burning residents gas furnace to clean Utah air


Utah State Division of Clean Air will cover the cost of installing new natural gas furnaces for qualifying Utah Valley residents who use wood-burning stoves as their sole source of heat. Ralph Watson is one of a handful of Utah County residents permitted to burn wood on Red Days due to a grandfathered lifestyle of sole source heating Watson has in his Provo home.
