'Monte Cristo' musical to make U.S. debut at BYU, all-student cast


Tony Award-nominated composer Frank Wildhorn will bring his latest work, "The Count of Monte Cristo" to BYU on Jan. 30, 2019. The production has been performed abroad, but makes its U.S. debut under the direction of BYU's Tim Threlfall and the BYU Department of Theatre and Media Arts. The all-BYU-student cast will portray the iconic characters, namely Preston Yates as Dantes (The Count) and Shae Robins as Mercedes.
